Press Release:

In 2022 Beach Bunny completed a 35 date North American and European tour and made their Coachella and Primavera Sound debuts – big live performances coming off the back of the band’s acclaimed second album, Emotional Creature, out now via Liberator Music/Mom+Pop. Inspired by sci-fi and envisioning up new places to travel, dreaming up Y2K-esque pop sounds and galaxial imagery, the band’s latest album was produced by Sean O’Keefe (Fall Out Boy, Motion City Soundtrack). Led by Trifilio’s candid, charming songcraft, with its openhearted, vulnerable themes and progressive, hook-filled take on pop rock and pop punk, Emotional Creature further cements Beach Bunny and Trifilio’s well-earned reputation as a leading voice of their generation.

With their trademark guitar-pop, Beach Bunny have earned critical and commercial acclaim ever since they dropped 2018 EP Prom Queen, and its 2020 follow-up breakout debut album, Honeymoon. The latter contained smash hit single ‘Cloud 9’, certified gold in Australia and the US, and reaching #7 on the TikTok Sounds Chart with 2 million videos created using the song. Critics and fans were instantly drawn to the group’s magnetic live energy and unguarded ability to tackle the most sensitive matters of the heart, Trifilio’s skills profiled by The New York Times and Rolling Stone in their Best Of The Year nods. Collaborations with Tegan and Sara and MARINA followed, not to mention a well-documented fandom by actor Bob Odenkirk.

Having recently ticked over 1 billion streams globally, with singles such as ‘Prom Queen’, ‘Entropy’, ‘Good Girls (Don’t Get Used)’, ‘Painkiller’ and more it’s clear Beach Bunny are on the rise… be quick to score tickets and make them welcome!
