The Dillinger Escape Plan

It was with a mix of nerves and anticipation that I found myself in the front row about to shoot Dillinger Escape Plan. The Kings Arms is a very small intimate venue, with no photo pit and a stage that’s not too high off the ground – mix that with a capacity crowd absolutely ready to cause carnage and from what I’d heard, just as much chance of carnage coming from onstage… As it was, Greg Puciato, Dillinger Escape Plan’s lead singer ended up face first into the crowd in the first song, and by the second song stage divers and crowd surfers had become a thing to dodge while shooting. With such high energy is was exhilarating to shoot, and while most of the photos reflect the nature of the gig (yeah, put simply some of these are not my best) this was a concert I will remember for a very long time to come!
