The NZ Music Month Daily Playlist Challenge
20th May, 2018
Compiled by Kody Naidoo / Seas Of Conflict.
As the vocalist for outstanding up and coming progressive metal band Seas of Conflict, Kody Naidoo certainly has his finger on the pulse when it comes to music. Singing for as long as he can remember, Kody has always found a way to incorporate music into every facet of his life, the art form itself something of great importance to him.
Fronting Seas of Conflict since 2011 hasn’t relegated him to a specific genre field either, Kody stating that his musical tastes are immensely varied. While music may be his first love he also has a second; Japanese food being something that Kody states he could eat everyday for the rest of his life. Now that’s commitment!
On stage his vocals are blood-curdling but off stage Kody loves nothing more than romantic candlelit dinners quite possibly while dressed in his favourite colour of purple. He also loves animals which makes him a friend of ours any day!
If you haven’t already, check out Kody’s vocal skills on Seas of Conflict’s EP Vestige which features six tracks of absolute perfection. Seas of Conflict will also be supporting international heavyweights Silverstein and Comeback Kid on May 22nd at Whammy Bar if you want to see just what Kody and the boys can do live!
Now settle back and delve into Kody Naidoo’s playlist of eighteen tantalizing New Zealand music tracks!
