Supporting them in Auckland will be Racing & Liquid Livers, while support in Wellington will be Beatcomber.

Press Release:

“As with previous dynamic duos Black Keys and White Stripes, you’re offered a soulful, howling vocalist/ guitarist (David Novak) and a hefty, no-frills drummer (John-Henry Pajak), the sound a punky retread of 60s R’n’B. Both men pledge allegiance to Stax/Motown, their soul moves refracted through a lens of their favourite garage rock bands: The Stooges and The Strokes.” – Sunday Star Times / stuff.co.nz

RACING is a swirling sea of groove and hypnosis. Think rock and roll anthems drenched in strange tropical dance music. They are an Auckland four piece that have managed to take rock and roll music and inject it with a chemical haze so ominous and dangerous that it leaves you feeling both pleased and punished.

Auckland based two-piece LIQUID LIVERS marries the big beat of TWO WOLVES to the scuzz groove of BLOODBAGS! Bass and drums, filling the space left to them, with as much good time evil rhythms as they can muster. Two’s company, there’s a crowd, one amp, cans and china, it can be just as loud.

Hailing from the Harbour City, BEATCOMBER are a self-credited lo-fi guitar garage pop band. The quirky five-friend lineup deliver super delayed sonic pop, infused with spasming psychedelia and distortion. Inspired by the likes of Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
