Press Release:

Formerly known as RÜFÜS, the three-piece comprised of members Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt, occupy the intersection of propulsive indie music and emotive house. They have managed to combine the DIY live aesthetics of rock with the euphoria of classic club culture, creating a sonic realm all their own. The band has spent the past year in Venice, CA, writing and recording their third album, which is largely influenced by the dichotomy of the stark desert landscapes and beautiful coastline of California.

RÜFÜS DU SOL are also set to bring in the 2019 new year by closing the mainstage at Sydney’s Field Day festival at the Domain in Sydney on January 1, after a triumphant run in North American and Europe with sold-out shows at London’s Print Works, and 3 sold out shows at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium.
