This week Villainy announced they were hitting the road this March and April for seven headline concerts around New Zealand, as well as an appearance at the Homegrown NZ music festival. 2015 was a massive year for Villainy with the release of their second album Dead Sight (which debuted at #4 on the NZ Charts), achieving a huge rock radio hit with ‘Safe Passage’ and culminating in stadium dates supporting legendary rockers AC/DC. The band have kicked off 2016 in style with the release of ‘Give Up The Ghost’ the second single from Dead Sight, and playing to a 10,000 strong crowd at Rock the Park alongside Shihad and Blacklistt. Now it’s time for them to take the headline spot on their own tour, with support by City of Souls and Decades – and now is the perfect time for me to release these photos of Villainy performing live in Auckland as support for AC/DC. It’s no secret I’m a bit of a fan of Villainy, and they certainly didn’t disappoint on that day either. I absolutely implore, if you have the chance to check these guys out on this tour, do it!
